Report: Snoop Dogg’s Death Row Records Deal Won’t Include 2Pac & Dr. Dre Albums

Published: Friday 25th Feb 2022 by Ryan

After acquiring famed label Death Row Records, a new report claims that Snoop Dogg did not gain control over several albums in the process.

Full story below…

According to Billboard, 2Pac‘s ‘All Eyez On Me’ and ‘The Don Killuminati: The 7 Day Theory’ are technically “no longer on the label.” As for Dr. Dre‘s iconic album ‘The Chronic,’ it is currently not owned by the label, but is slated to return as early as next year.

The sources go on to explain that the specifics of the label’s catalog portion of the deal are still “being negotiated.” As a result, until the deal is finalized MNRK Music Group and investment firm Blackstone are still the owners of the Death Row catalog entries.

As of reporting, Snoop Dogg has not spoken out on the new claim.
